Today I was told my taste in music was garbage
Because I like to listen to Jay Electronica more than Waka Flocka or Gucci Mane and I find unsigned artists more appealing than those getting more cosigns and backings than they can handle.

I found little success in the record store
And by little, I mean I came home empty handed. The Hip Hop selection was small and there wasn’t anything that caught my eye. Nothing old school like I was looking for. They had $1 crates on the floor but I didn’t have enough time to check it. Next time it will be better, I hope. If not, I need to find a new store.
Going to the record store today
For the first time ever. I’ve always wanted to go but never had the chance and now I’m going somewhere that’s sells for cheap. $1 a record cheap. Hopefully, what I want is at that prince and not in the $20 to $100 range. I’m really looking for old school Hip Hop though. My dad has everything else covered.

Jacked me for my book and he didn't even want to...
I took a little trip to the library (finally!) and picked up the books I had on hold, plus five others that I grabbed on a whim. It doesn’t seem logical for me to do so when I haven’t made a dent in reading the books that I actually own but I have something like a short attention span and a need to be perfect. Nonetheless, I am thrilled there’s a reply button. Granted, it only allows 250 words max, its great because I enjoy being able to give a comment WITHOUT having to reblog. I enjoy receiving comments. I hope people make use of it though.
